V2.357

I am using Version 2.357 on an iMac PowerPC G4 (3.3), running OS X 10.4.11.
In going through the changes for 2.357 listed in your " What's New" posting I found that the commands People- Comments... and People- Notes... seem to do nothing on my Mac. I do not get a default list of people in the upper window.

Otherwise everything else seems to work fine. I particularly like the Relationships Calculator as a menu item.

Also, (although this is not urgent) please check that windows can be closed with either Command-W or with the escape key. These keyboard commands are not consistent throughout the program.

Many thanks for an excellent program that keeps getting better!

Thanks Bob,

It works fine on Leopard but not on Tiger.

V2.358 corrects the error for Tiger and adds Cmd+W to Close buttons.

I think I need to change the name to iFamily for Leopard sooner than I intended.

Hi Keith -

Thanks for the very quick response.

I hope that, in the transition from Tiger to Leopard, you do not abandon Tiger completely. I would love to change to Leopard but I am hesitant, primarily because of some old OS 9 (Mac Classic) programs and data files on my iMac! As you probably are aware, Leopard unfortunately does not support OS 9.

Regards, - Bob

Hi Bob,

The sooner you update to Leopard and dump your OS9 apps, the happier you will be. You may initially have some withdrawal symptoms but they won't last long.

iFamily for Tiger runs much faster on Leopard, as do lots of other apps.
