What to do about unmarried partners and parents!

Is there any hope of soon having a way to show a person's parents without charts/reports, etc. marking them as married -- even when there is no mention of a marriage anywhere in their events? This makes the charts unuseable for me. I love the program for many things, but this and the absence of a place for AKA's that don't mess up charts and reports are my two pet peeves.

Otherwise, things just keep getting better and looking better.
