Tab delimited reports for sorting

It would be nice to have the abilty to generate reports (1 line per person) with tab delimited fields, say in Textedit.
It woud then be possible to import into Appleworks or Excel for SORTING (e.g. into date order)

I hear you Neville, but another option is to describe to me exactly what you need/want in the report (and the sort order) and I'll add it as a new report option within iFamily for Tiger. Then you don't have to import it into a spreadsheet and .... then eveyone else gets the benefit of your ideas too.

But what i had in mind was an extra option in Filtered People (One line per person) so that " Event year" would be an output field, that would allow the output to be sorted by that " Event Year"
This would make " Time Line" Reporting possible
