Save as

I am considering refining my data base. I would like to have a separate data base for each major family group. It would be handy to be able to select each family group and then do a "Save As."

Is there a procedure in place for doing this?

You could export your master database as a gedcom.

Go to File/New and create a new database named after another family group and import your gedcom into it.

Edit out those not in this family.

Repeat for each major family group needed.
